Kajabi is an all-in-one creator commerce platform for online course creators, coaches, and digital entrepreneurs. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Irvine, California, Kajabi serves hundreds of thousands of content creators who use the platform to build, market, and sell courses, memberships, coaching programs, podcasts, and digital downloads. A single Kajabi subscription replaces a separate course platform, email marketing tool, landing page builder, community platform, and website host.
In January 2026, Kajabi restructured its pricing for the first time since 2015. The new plans are Basic at $179/month ($143/month annual), Growth at $249/month ($199/month annual), and Pro at $499/month ($399/month annual). A Kickstarter plan previously available at $89/month was removed. The price increase — Growth jumped from $159 to $249/month on monthly billing — generated significant backlash in creator communities.
The platform’s main strength is consolidation. For creators using all the features, replacing Kajabi typically requires 3–5 separate tools at comparable or higher total cost. No revenue sharing is charged on any plan.
A key cost consideration introduced in 2026 is the payment processing surcharge. Using your own Stripe account instead of Kajabi Payments triggers a surcharge of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, and 0.5% on Pro, on top of Stripe’s standard fees.
Kajabi is best suited to established course creators and coaches already generating consistent revenue. New creators still testing their first offer face the highest entry price in the course platform market at $143/month annual.
